Brouwerij Haacht

Haacht Brewery is an independent, Belgian family-run brewery that employs about 400 people. In addition to its beer, Primus, the company also brews a variety of amber ales, and specialty, abbey, fruit, white and table beers. The brewery’s most famous brands are Charles Quint, Tongerlo, Ommegang, SUPER 8 and Mystic. On an annual basis, the drinks collection represents a market of over a million hectoliters and also contains a complete collection of home-bottled natural mineral waters and soft drinks – known as VAL –, Fuerto coffee and a variety of French and international wines. Haacht Brewery also exclusively bottles the Pepsi meant for the Belgian hospitality industry. Its main focus is offering a complete service to more than 6,000 hospitality businesses, both for the national and international market. Consumers are able to purchase the brewery’s products at the better class off-licenses and supermarkets. The company is known as Brasserie du Coq Hardi in France, as Bierbrouwerij De Leeuw in the Netherlands and as Microbrewery l’Île d’Orléans in Quebec (Canada).
