Danone is home to two large factories serving Belgium and a large part of Europe: one in Wevelgem for the production of Alpro's plant-based products and one in Rotselaar for the production of dairy products such as Actimel, Danone Fruit, Activia Fruit and Light&Free. Danone employs about 1,800 people in Belgium and partnered with 80 milk suppliers, located on average 70 kilometres from the Rotselaar production site.
